my psychology teacher told us a his driving test story.
he was really nervous so he took purple hearts, which he said was supposed to calm you down and reduce stress
he took them, and passed his driving test without him having to worry one bit, but he had a football game on the night, and he was the goal keeper
as a goal keeper you need to be alert and on edge yeah? because of the purple hearts he was totally laid back about the match and ended getting hit by the ball, which then bounced off him and went on the goal

good luck with your test

Morning is best time to do it because even though they say there is no quota there is… and being in the mornin means less people have been passed and the tester has less people to compare you to for that day.
Makes sure you have breakfast, where comfortable clothing, stay focused on driving and just enjoy. Take your time with manouvers.
Good Luck.

Just remember you are taking the examiner for a drive out. Relax. What’s the worse thing that could happen? fail? so what, you could take it again. I thought I’d failed 3 times during my test and then decided what the heck, I love driving, I know I can do it so enjoyed the rest of the time. I was surprised when he told me I’d passed! I fluffed one of the braking distance questions because he asked it in a different way and he went away laughing his head off!! I asked why he didn’t ask for the distance as I knew the answer!!!
If you are confident in your driving by yourself, all you are doing is showing him/her how confident you are.
Good luck anyway.

just try really hard to relax.
think of how good a driver you are.
think of owning your own car with all your fluffy furry steering wheel jackets and seat covers
try to take you mind off the test and just drive with the confidance you have but not too confidant.
good luck with the test and re post later on to let us know how you got on!

OK, you know the rules and you’ve got some drive time behind the wheel. You’re half way there.
The first thing is to make sure that your vehicle is ready for a right seat passenger – no junk or clutter, and seat pushed all the way back. Second thing is make sure vehicle is inspection ready – registration and insurance current, all lights (turn, brake, backup, head), tires have tread and look inflated, windshield clean – no junk/trash on the dash, horn OK. wipers good, nothing hanging from the rearview mirror, radio, gps and cell phone off.
For you, put on your famous pleasant, confident face. This is the first thing the examiner will notice – that you look like you know what you are doing and are not suicidal. The examiner will not tell you to do anything illegal. Answer ‘yes, sir’ or ‘ma’am’ that you understand the directions. Watch for pedestrians and responding emergency vehicles. Get in the proper turn lane when told to make a turn. Relax, listen to the examiner and drive the way you were taught. You’ll knock this thing out.
All the best.
