This is going to be my first attempt in taking the test, but I’m not sure what the instructors are going to test on when driving. If you can, can you give my some information on it? Also, where do they usually test you at? Around the block?

the first thing after checking the lights and blinkers on the car they had my daughter drive 35 mph then hit the brakes on comand then parrellell parking, 3 point turn and out onto the main road make a few tuns, left , right , change lanes ,yield and/or merge stop and thats basically it.

I’m 14 right now, and I’m looking for a good driving school that I can attend in my area so I can apply for a learner’s permit and a driver’s license.

I live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I’m preferably looking for something cheap. Thanks.

You could try the yellow pages, Google, or ask your local DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles). Also, ask someone who went to a driving school in your area.

Driving (with guys who fluently speak spanish) in a 2008 Civic from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas. We know all the basic safety tips: dont drive at night, dont bring drugs, guns, or produce; follow traffic laws, get mex insurance, be super nice to the federalies… Any other tips?
